Okay, well, my insurance should be reaching out to you. The deductible-out-of-pocket maximum—it’s all parsing words at this point. It’s for the $10k for my insurance. Sorry, I used the wrong words earlier. I’m asking for loan forgiveness due to negligence. I don’t care about anything other than my wife, and I’m edified in that. If you want to make it look like I didn’t do everything I needed to, that’s fine. I’m no insurance expert, but I do know what was told to me by two staff members and the 30-day period. That's out of the total 6 people I've spoken to at this point. That was your responsibility, as stated. To this day, I’m still $600 short of my out-of-pocket maximum. I’m following the advice given to me at this point. One does what one can.

This was the last message I sent to the billing department. As stated, I signed a 10k agreement for my out of pocket maximum. To this day, it's still not met, which I need for after care treatment, which was going to cost 395 a visit because it was showing it's not met. It has been 5 months, and all they care about is their money. My wife is a person with a mental health issue, which is more important? Let's do the right thing to summit your end of the agreement. I also tried to reach out to my insurance company, which I have proof on different occasions. I'm only as good as the information I'm provided. How is someone supposed to navigate a complex insurance world? then add trying to care for my wife and 2 kids.

Can't say enough great things about this place and the people there! The staff were all kind and super accommodating. I had a much better experience than I could have ever imagined. The only downside was a call from corporate asking to set up a payment plan with my MOM for $9,000 (which was out of network max out of pocket even though this facility WAS in network). When she said they needed to talk to me about it the lady responded with "Well we can wait till the insurance comes back..." Why even call if insurance hasn't come back. That frustrated me but I talked to the techs and my case manager and they said unfortunately it has happened before but gets resolved quickly. The import part was the call WAS NOT from this facility. So while I was aggravated by that incident it had nothing to do with this specific facility. While I intend to never need their services again, if I did I would 100% return to this facility. Others there said it was soooooo much better than other places they've been. If you're in need of help ABSOLUTELY go here!!!

ICFR was one of the most mesmerizing, yet most difficult times of my life. As soon as I got there I knew this was gonna be the place for me. Where it would change my perspective on my recovery. The staff, are bar none the most genuine and loving people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. The alumni still checks up on me to see if I’m holding my head afloat. Which is huge to me. There’s a certain few that are very special to me. You know who you are.

From the staff to the fellow clients, I felt welcomed, accepted and ready to open up. Most of the therapists/case workers are incredibly caring people, Andrew, Linda and Bree are angels! I would absolutely recommend this ICFR location to anyone looking for a place to get sober, the connections you’ll make here will change your life!

Also shoutout to the cleaning crew! Being greeted with smiles from them was a wonderful day to start each day. Thank you ICFR!

I was struggling with postpartum depression, anxiety, and insomnia. My husband reached out to the Indiana Center for Recovery who claimed to have an equipped staff to handle this condition and that our insurance was in fact in network and our deductible was met (later, we found out the facility was out of network with a hefty bill). Upon our arrival, I was told by Roxanna Bolen and another female tech with an eyebrow ring that this was a chance to get services and relax back to health. I was told there was horse therapy, fitness centers, art therapy, all the wonderful things to grab your attention that this was a safe and calming place. I even asked if I change my mind, am I free to go? They both assured my husband and I that they can't hold anyone against their will. I willingly admitted myself and asked for a private room if possible. Once my husband left, the techs took me to high psych, which seemed highly inappropriate for my treatable condition. We were under the impression that I would have immediate services. Instead, I was basically in a holding facility. I asked to be moved to the mental health floor and continued to advocate for myself. One of the nurses (heavier set) with gray hair in a ponytail told me that my husband would have to lawyer up and that there's nothing he can do to move me off high psych. Once I was finally getting transferred, this same nurse threatened me and said if I talked about wanting to leave on the mental health floor, they may want to put me back here (high psych). I did not receive any actual services until the sixth day. The staff lost a good portion of my belongings, which forced me to walk around without shoes for three days until someone was able to locate my things. When I would have an opportunity to speak with my family, the techs would hang up the phone if I voiced anything negative about the facility. The staff were unprofessional and unequipped to deliver promised services. The only opportunities to go outside were for smoke breaks on a small smoke-filled patio (I do not smoke). Roxanna Bolen would tell me to "go do some homework or something" anytime I asked for information regarding my progress. Dr. T did not assess me personally, yet he would prescribe strong medications without a thorough assessment or gene site testing results. All patients would express, "this is not what we thought it was," "insurance bills weekly," "you're not allowed to leave unless your counselor approves it." Most all patients were stuck for thirty days regardless of what was best suited for the individual. I am not surprised by this given the slow pace that any services are kick started and prescribing meds without taking the time to have a thorough patient assessment. Patients weren't engaged in their progress. Most had no idea when they would be leaving, when they would see someone, or get an answer to concerns. The techs would all say, "I'm looking into that" and not return. When I asked to leave (disappointed by the lack of services and disrespect), I was told that would be "against medical advice." They would hold my cell phone, clothes, money, and prescriptions for seventy-two hours. This does not align with what I was sold on during admission. I saw a lot of emotionally hurt people in this facility. They had no way out. Once you sign in, you are at the mercy of this facility. I found it very sad how many people waited in line for hours just to get a phone call home by the one tech on the floor for over forty people. Whenever you needed medication, you wait in a similarly long line. It is a cattle driving business scam. The staff are lacking empathy and respect for human life. Being a former teacher, I can't be silent on how those at their neediest hours are being dismissed, mishandled, and overlooked. I myself, as well as everyone that stepped foot in that facility deserved so much more.
