The staff at this facility made the stress of having a loved one in rehab less stressful. The social worker, Simone, kept me informed & was amazing at staying up to date on his progress. The nurses were very patient, caring & understanding. He was especially fond of Diana B., who always gave 100% to his care. The physical therapists were also fantastic & had him up and walking again faster than we expected. Thank you to all of the staff who took such great care of him!

I was in Plantation Nursing and Rehab for 3 weeks. I fractured my pelvis and needed Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy . It was clean and the aids were very competent. They helped me dress ,bath and everything I needed for daily activities. I had PT and O T 6 times a week that was geared to my problem . I couldn’t walk when I first got there but was able to walk when I left. Anna and Alexes in therapy were very professional. If I needed a therapy facility again I would definitely go there. I want to thank these people for going an extra mile, Simone the social worker,ms November, Ashley,Diana’s and Yolanda for all there help

No existence of quality of care !

This is not made up or Fictional but when you read this hopefully, this will deter you from making a critical mistake in which I did.

Plantation Nursing & Rehab is operating at a criminal Level. Many of the patients there are succumbing to some of the worse case of abuse I ever witnessed.

Unlike my relative many of the patients don’t have family members that visit them ❌.

Noticeably when this is apparent lack of care is far and never shown until it’s at their leisure.

Administration is a huge joke, these people have no supervision that oversees their obnoxious behavior.

Night Shift is the worse !

I’ve personally witnessed patients requesting assistance and their requests go unanswered!

I’ve have tried to speak with many of the PCT’S & Nurses lol ? Good luck ? with that !

They look at you as if you’re nuts and some of them have the audacity to argue with you.

I have collected lots of video footage of the nasty behavior that they exhibit on a daily basis.

This is not a 5 star ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
Facility NOR is it a 1 Star ⭐️

This place needs a complete overhaul from top to bottom .

The good ones that’s there, are miserable and because they need their employment, stuck between a rock and a hard place.

An independent investigation is now being conducted!

Hopefully, this will provide protection for the unfortunate patients who are suffering under their care.

When we entrust the care of our loved ones to a nursing home, we expect them to be treated with dignity and respect.

Unfortunately, this facility fell way short of those standards/ Expectations.

I’ve personally witnessed staff:

Failing to bathe residents

Failing to check on residents with mobility issues frequently.

Failing to change the bedding regularly or after it has been soiled.

Fail to report signs of illness or concerns to doctors or medical staff

Allowing residents with mobility issues to remain immobile

Insult residents and their appearance, intellect, and/or abilities

The Plantation Nursing & Rehab Center facility owe the residents a duty of care and simply put it was not being done.

A word to the wise be careful how you approach and treat people, you never know who an individual is or what capabilities they might possess.

This facility will change! I promise everyone who ever had an encounter with them.

The worst experience in a medical facility, we had my mother admited for 10 days with a hip replacement surgery. Thank god we had the posibility to be with her all the time, except ant night time. Several times, she called the nurse to go to the bathroom and never showed up to help her, one time, they came and took her to the bathroom and left her ther for more than an hour. At the time of dismissal, the were supposed to order all the medicine, follow up appointments and order the home nurse, home therapy and the equipments necesary for her, they never ordered anything. Last but not least, in the food menu, a binder in the room, there were a roach. It's the worst place to have your relatives, never accept to be send there.
